About The Position

GNC Sales Associates help customers discover products that fit their needs and goals, creating a welcoming and personalized shopping experience while representing the company's “Live Well” philosophy. This is a part-time hourly retail position focused on customer service, product recommendations, and achieving sales and productivity goals.

When not assisting customers, Sales Associates restock products, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties. They also support store management with opening, closing, cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits. The role requires schedule flexibility to meet store needs, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work varied hours and days, including mornings or nights, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
• Able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Able to frequently reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
• Able to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, and push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Able to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stock room areas.
• Able to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.

• Proactively greet and welcome customers and create an inviting store environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Achieve and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders accurately and promptly according to company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay informed about nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
• Restock products and maintain visual merchandising and store appearance.
• Perform cleaning duties.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and store operations, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.
