About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, with retail and outlet locations, an online store, and a mobile app.

The Sales Associate provides customers with a great in-store shopping experience and supports store operations through tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role helps maintain a safe, clean, and inviting store, follows company policies and procedures, and supports product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures. Associates deliver the customer experience, process transactions accurately and efficiently, resolve or escalate customer service issues, and promote credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant job experience.
• Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours, as defined by the company.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Ability to interact with customers and provide customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to support the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty programs and encourage customer participation.
• Support store operations with tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by the supervisor.
