About The Position

Primark is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate to help customers find sizes and styles, make purchases, and handle returns while creating a positive in-store experience. The role also supports shop-floor presentation, fitting-room and stockroom organization, till operations, and the receipt and placement of deliveries. The position starts at $16.25 per hour, with $0.50 increases after six and twelve months of continued employment. Pay offered depends on the candidate’s geographic region.

The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, up to eight hours per shift, and performing a range of physical tasks in the sales floor and stockroom. Reasonable accommodations are available as required by law. Depending on assigned responsibilities, colleagues may be trained and authorized to operate certain material-handling equipment; colleagues under 18 may not use that equipment.

• Manual dexterity for handling merchandise, operating registers or other point-of-sale systems, and using handheld devices.
• Ability to move throughout the sales floor and stockroom, occasionally use stairs or ladders where applicable, and occasionally work in varying temperatures, including outdoor areas or storage spaces where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with sizes, styles, purchases, and returns, providing a positive in-store experience.
• Maintain the shop floor with full shelves and tidy fitting rooms, and keep the stockroom organized.
• Provide fast and friendly service at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receive, unpack, and check deliveries; place products on the shop floor and ensure they are correctly priced and meet company standards.
• Depending on assigned responsibilities, use balers and manual or electric pallet jacks when properly trained and authorized.
