About The Position

The Crayola Store is a part of Halls KC store located at the Crown Center Shops. It offers a unique shopping experience geared towards families and children, while upholding the standards of superior customer service experienced at Halls KC. In the Crayola Store, the Sales Associate is instrumental in creating the best customer experience Crayola can offer. By demonstrating a thorough knowledge of store merchandise, the Sales Associate guides customers with selecting merchandise and ringing sales. Sales Associates are responsible for accurately preparing and ringing sales, packaging carry out merchandise appropriately, facilitating the gift wrap and shipping processes as needed, and following up on all merchandise requiring special handling. This position also assists in maintaining the function and visual presentation of the sales floor by dusting and straightening displays, restocking merchandise as needed, and replenishing cash wrap supplies such as bags, tissue paper and receipt paper.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• At least six months of sales experience in a department store setting, or six months professional customer contact (i.e. public relations, customer service, high volume receptionist)
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
