About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a temporary Sales Associate to represent the brand and deliver a relaxed, welcoming shopping experience. The role involves greeting guests, helping them find merchandise suited to their needs, sharing product knowledge, and offering recommendations and styling advice. Associates also communicate brand marketing programs and events and participate in store meetings while working toward sales and service goals set by store management. The position requires supporting the business with other duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A “get things done” mindset.
• Ability to collaborate and identify opportunities and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Occasional ladder climbing.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge.
• Provide prompt recommendations and professional service, including fit and fashion wardrobing advice and suggestions for add-on products.
• Communicate the brand direction, current marketing programs, and upcoming events to guests.
• Participate actively in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
