About The Position

L.L.Bean is hiring temporary, part-time Sales Associates for its Legacy Village Retail Store in Lyndhurst, Ohio. Sales Associates work in the outdoor gear and apparel departments, deliver world-class customer service, represent the L.L.Bean brand, maintain store standards, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Ability to stand and walk during a shift; talk or hear in person and by headset; occasionally use ladders, stairs, or ramps; perform repetitive hand, wrist, or finger motions; occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift 1 to 20 pounds; and occasionally move and lift objects up to 40 pounds, using a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

Approach and assist multiple customers, providing personal and genuine service interactions.
Turn customer interactions into sales opportunities and build brand loyalty through exceptional service.
Work collaboratively and respectfully with team members and customers across a variety of differences.
Listen actively to understand customer needs and resolve problems efficiently at the first point of contact.
Use point-of-sale systems, customer systems, and mobile devices to provide efficient omnichannel service.
Promote L.L.Bean-sponsored programs, including Outdoor Discovery School and the L.L.Bean Mastercard program.
Keep the store organized, uphold visual and merchandising standards, and support store operations processes.
Collaborate with the team to achieve results, maintain a positive work environment, and adapt to changing business needs.
Follow safety policies and procedures to contribute to a safe and healthy workplace.
