Part-Time Sales Associate - Ontario
About The Position
The Part-Time Sales Associate provides customer service and sales support in a shooting sports retail environment. The role involves helping customers identify and obtain merchandise that meets their needs, sharing product knowledge, maintaining firearm safety awareness, and completing required firearms paperwork within legal parameters. The position requires standing and walking throughout the work shift and may involve bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions. Shifts may vary according to business needs and can include evenings, holidays, and weekends. The business is open seven days a week.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED certificate preferred.
- Prior retail or sales experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Nice To Haves
- Shooting sports knowledge.
- Prior retail cashier or cash handling experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
