About The Position
A Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and applying selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance, with a focus on customer service, sales, and teamwork. The associate helps customers find appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and inventory restocking, follows visual standards, and helps keep the sales floor organized. The position also requires compliance with company policies, participation in service training and product programs, and assistance in preventing employee and customer theft.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
- Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Use fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise, maintaining DTLR standards, and building customer relationships.
- Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
- Provide customers with a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression.
- Comply with company policies.
- Participate in service training and product programs.
- Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
- Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
- Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Keep the store organized as directed by store management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
