About The Position
The Sales Associate assists customers throughout a retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties include greeting customers, answering product-related questions, cashiering, assembling products, housekeeping, and other tasks assigned by the manager. The role requires knowledge of farm, feed, and pet products. The hourly pay range is $15.00–$16.00, depending on experience. This position is based in a retail store environment with cold and warm conditions and an irregular work schedule. The role involves frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, extended periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting. Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
- Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
- Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
- Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
- Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Handle customer returns.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
