About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, with retail and outlet stores, an online store, and a mobile app.

The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience for retail customers and assists with additional store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room; following safety policies and procedures; and supporting product launches according to company standard operating procedures.

Associates deliver the customer experience model, process transactions quickly and accurately, resolve customer service issues or escalate them to management, and promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits. Other essential functions may be assigned by the supervisor. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues or escalate them as appropriate, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty programs and encourage customers to participate.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other tasks as directed by a supervisor.
