About The Position

GNC Sales Associates help customers discover products that fit their needs and goals, creating a welcoming, tailored shopping experience while representing the company’s “Live Well” message. Associates advise customers, recommend products, and support store operations. When not serving customers, they restock products, maintain visual merchandising, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties. This is a part-time hourly position with varied hours and days to meet store needs, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours per day.
• Frequently reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions; reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds; push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stockroom areas.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers and create a welcoming store environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products using product knowledge.
• Work toward achieving and exceeding store and personal sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders promptly and accurately according to company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay current on nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising and store appearance, and perform cleaning duties.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and operating the retail store, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits.
• Work varied hours and days, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
