About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand offering modern, confident and effortless styles for work, everyday wear and special occasions. The company operates more than 400 retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as online and through the Express mobile app.

The Sales Associate at the Freehold Raceway store helps provide retail customers with a great in-store shopping experience and assists with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise and other store tasks. The role includes maintaining a clean, organized and safe store, supporting product launches, assisting customers, processing transactions, resolving service issues, and promoting credit and loyalty programs. The position requires availability that includes nights, weekends and non-business hours, as well as meeting physical requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; 0–2 years stated.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position's physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Positively resolve customer service issues, determine a resolution or escalate them, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty membership programs and encourage customers to participate.
• Assist with tasks such as stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
