About The Position

GNC Sales Associates help customers discover products and solutions tailored to their health, wellness, and fitness needs. They welcome customers, provide product advice and recommendations, and represent GNC’s “Live Well” message. When not assisting customers, they restock products, maintain visual merchandising, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties. This is a part-time hourly position. Sales Associates support store operations and management, including opening and closing, cash handling, inventory counts, deposits, and maintaining the store’s appearance. They must be flexible and reliable about working varied hours and days to meet store needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work varied hours and days to meet store needs, including mornings or nights for opening or closing.
• Availability to work peak business days and hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Availability to work major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand-to-finger motions; ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally, and push or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers and create an inviting store environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products using product knowledge.
• Work toward and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders promptly and accurately in accordance with company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay informed about nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and operating the store.
• Handle cash, conduct inventory counts and deposits, and maintain the store’s appearance.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising, and perform cleaning duties.
