About The Position

As a Sales Associate/Photographer, you’ll help create excellent experiences on Santa photo sets by welcoming families, engaging with children, and capturing holiday moments. You’ll provide warm, energetic guest service and support a smooth photo experience from start to finish. The role includes taking photos and providing guests with souvenirs, operating a POS system and photography equipment, and helping maintain safe, clean, and effective photo operations. Photography experience is not required. This is a seasonal holiday position at Fashion Valley, with a minimum availability of 20 hours per week or as needed. Employees should be flexible to work peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be able to lift and carry equipment weighing 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be able to process sales transactions and handle cash comfortably.
• Wear professional attire and maintain good hygiene.
• Be available for training meetings and required courses.
• Be flexible to work peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week or as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo set experience and help families feel welcomed and cared for.
• Work as part of a team to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers in a friendly, patient, and festive manner.
• Operate the POS system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training meetings and complete required courses.
