About The Position

Are you looking for a career in the beverage alcohol industry? Then come join our team at Alabama Crown Distributing Co. as a Merchandiser in Auburn Alabama. The position is to help enhance Georgia Crown’s presence in retail outlets, in regards to customer service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs occasionally/frequently
• Basic Computer skills
• Must have good people/communication skills and willingness to work with store owners, managers and sales reps
• Must be able to work long & flexible hours
• Willing to work in McDonough and Atlanta areas
• Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record: Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph)
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record: Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record: Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years
• Must be able to keep 100/300/100 liability amounts on car insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Background checks will be conducted (i.e. Police background, reference checks)

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of similar industry is preferred.
• College Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Build displays and install POS materials.
• Push, pull and carry cases of product (i.e. building displays and stocking shelves with specialty products).
