About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience and provides a legendary experience by identifying and evaluating customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The position also involves demonstrating products, maintaining product knowledge through ongoing training, replenishing and restocking merchandise, maintaining advertised sales pricing and signage, assisting with seasonal merchandise moves, and keeping the work area clean and stocked. The role follows company policies and procedures and may include other assigned duties. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Demonstrate products to customers.
Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
Replenish and restock merchandise as required and according to merchandising guidelines.
Remain knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Identify and evaluate customers’ needs, make product recommendations, and promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Perform other duties as assigned.
