About The Position

The Sales Associate/Front-end Cashier is responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards. This role involves greeting and acknowledging every customer, answering customer questions, and helping them find products. The associate will also answer incoming phone calls, maintain constant radio communication with all associates, and possess comprehensive knowledge of the products sold. Maintaining awareness of product knowledge information and merchandise promotions, as well as assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping are key duties. Additionally, the associate may help in other departments when needed and perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping.

Requirements

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
