About The Position

Batteries Plus is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative in Wasilla, AK. This role is for individuals who enjoy staying busy, interacting with people, and learning new things daily in a fast-paced retail environment. You will work with both retail and business customers, helping to solve power and lighting needs, from assisting with phone or auto batteries to supporting local businesses with mobile power solutions. The variety of tasks ensures an engaging and dynamic workday.

Requirements

• Comfort with technology, POS systems, and learning new products
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Retail sales or customer service experience
• Friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills
• Experience with hand tools and power tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Delivering great retail customer service in-store and over the phone
• Recommending products and solutions that meet customer needs
• Processing sales, operating the POS register, and handling cash transactions
• Assisting with battery installation services for vehicles and devices
• Stocking, merchandising, and supporting daily store operations
• Keeping the store clean, organized, and customer-ready
