SALES ASSOCIATE - COSMETICS
About The Position
As a Cosmetic Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation for customer service. You help create a memorable shopping experience by building customer relationships, meeting sales goals, demonstrating cosmetic techniques and applying products during consultations, and sharing product and store-service knowledge. You also process transactions, maintain the department, and work day, evening, and weekend shifts. The position has an expected base wage of $16.00–$19.00 per hour, plus commission, and is eligible for overtime. Actual wages depend on individual qualifications; commission may vary by department and pay ranges may differ by location.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, provide friendly service, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow business.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Demonstrate cosmetic techniques and apply products during customer consultations.
- Ring point-of-sale transactions and enter account information.
- Share product knowledge and information about store services.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
