The Sales Associate's primary responsibility is to drive sales by consistently providing world-class customer service, coupled with an enthusiastic, positive, supportive, and sales-focused attitude. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Possess product knowledge of hardware related products along with a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
• Sales Associates working in the Lumber or Nursery departments will need to have the ability to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff and customers a normal in-person and phone conversation.
• Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
• Ascend and descend ladder.
• Ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and provide this information to customers.
• Execute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
• Continually work on increasing knowledge of the products sold and their uses.
• Utilize merchandising skills and abilities.
• Competence in all services offered to customers (keys, paint, screens, rental items, etc.) - training will be provided.
