About The Position

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor focuses on creating a memorable shopping experience and helping customers with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nail products. Sally Beauty provides product knowledge and training; the associate brings enthusiasm and personality while advising customers on their beauty needs.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
• The position requires extended periods of standing and walking, and recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities.
• The position requires recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• The position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about the Loyalty program and enroll them.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.
