About The Position
Smyths Toys is recruiting Sales Assistants for its Enfield store. This is a temporary contract paying £13.20 per hour for employees aged over 21 and £11.30 per hour for employees under 21. The role involves providing customer service, supporting customers with product choices, and helping with the day-to-day operation and presentation of the store. The store is open seven days a week, so flexibility is required.
Requirements
- Be as flexible as possible to support a store that is open seven days a week.
Nice To Haves
- Retail experience in Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming, or Backdoor/Warehouse areas is highly desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
- Work as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team.
- Keep the store clean and tidy.
- Pack shelves and merchandise.
- Work deliveries and complete price changes.
- Work on the tills.
- Learn about and keep up to date with products to help customers.
