About The Position

COBS Bread is looking for personable Sales Assistants to share their enthusiasm for baked goods with loyal customers. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, as no prior experience is necessary. Sales Assistants are responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, merchandising products, executing marketing campaigns, and maintaining bakery cleanliness. They will also assist with production and learn baking techniques.

Requirements

• Flexible availability including weekends.
• Continuous standing/ walking for all tasks.
• Constant use of both hands.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5 kg., reaching below shoulder level, bending and turning.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending and reaching above shoulder level.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant retail experience.
• Experience in handling cash, credit card and debit transactions is a strong asset.
