About The Position

As a Sales Assistant with Clayton, you will support the sales team and home center general manager in generating leads and creating a world-class home-buying experience. The role involves building rapport with prospective home buyers, generating leads in the community, and taking applications over the phone. Responsibilities

• Prospect for customers using marketing methods such as web marketing, road signage, and flyers.
• Set appointments through prospecting and by responding to advertising calls.
• Answer prospect inquiries.
• Greet prospects visiting the retail location.
• Demonstrate homes to prospects by explaining features and benefits.
• Turn prospects over to a Sales Professional or Manager when applicable.
• Schedule setup, delivery, and other service-related items.
• Follow up with customers using various contact methods.
• Maintain the office and homes on the property, including cleaning, maintaining the refreshment area, and moving furniture and décor.
• Partner with the manager on exceptions and questions.
• Protect company assets.
• Participate in sales meetings and other company events.
• Participate as needed in marketing promotions and events.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Assist other Sales Professionals as needed.
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment and assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
