We are excited to announce the opening of our new technology headquarters in Mesa, Arizona in 2025. This expansion reflects our commitment to growth and innovation in the climate solutions industry. As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified Application Engineer to join its team. As an Application Engineer, you will serve as a technical resource supporting the sales organization throughout the customer engagement process. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and customers to develop customized air-handling and climate-control solutions that meet project specifications and performance requirements. You will play a key role in equipment selection, proposal development, technical documentation, and customer support, ensuring solutions are both technically sound and commercially competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in application engineering, sales engineering, HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, or a related field
  • Experience reviewing specifications, preparing proposals, and supporting customer-facing technical discussions
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, air handling units, cooling systems, or related mechanical equipment
  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar design software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical requirements and develop practical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, HVAC, mechanical equipment, or industrial environment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to develop customized HVAC and air handling solutions
  • Select equipment and configure system solutions that meet performance, application, and budget requirements
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and bid packages for customers and sales representatives
  • Develop pre-submittal packages, technical documentation, and product data for customer review and approval
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and sales teams to ensure project requirements are accurately captured
  • Respond to technical inquiries from customers, representatives, and internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
  • Support project handoff activities to ensure a smooth transition from sales to execution teams
  • Review customer comments and requested revisions, coordinating updates to submittals and technical documentation as required
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of product selection tools, pricing databases, and technical resources
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to sales processes, proposal development, and customer experience
  • Participate in customer meetings, project reviews, and technical presentations as required
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation within CRM and other business systems
