About The Position
Daikin Applied is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to provide technical expertise on company products to sales representatives. The role guides representatives in selecting and applying business-unit products to meet specific field requirements, implements strategies to position products effectively in the marketplace, and interacts with customers to demonstrate the value of the company’s product lines. The position is based in Staunton, Virginia, with a hybrid workplace arrangement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

- Two or more years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems, or pricing.
- Process requests for modifications or options and provide general information not covered by published pricing.
- Stay informed about new products and competitive models in the marketplace.
- Communicate suggested product or service modifications to meet customer requirements.
- Provide product management with feedback on service requirements not met by the current product line.
- Write or provide input for technical literature for internal and field applications.
- Participate in product training for sales representatives and customers.
