About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring for Seasonal & Regular Sales and Support positions in various departments including Women's Apparel, Kids Apparel & Shoes, Shoes, Lingerie, and At Home. The company is hosting a Hiring Event on Thursday, September 17th, 2026, from 11 AM to 5 PM at the Oak Park Mall store (11143 West 95th Street, Overland Park, KS 66214). Candidates can attend the event anytime during these hours for an interview, with on-the-spot job offers expected for most roles. The interview process is expected to take approximately 1 hour. Resumes are welcome but not required. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and applications will still be considered if unable to attend the event.

Requirements

Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift.
Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach.
Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to reach for and lift bulky and awkwardly shaped items above the head.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.
Ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Handle merchandise and assist customers, which includes continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift.
Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
Grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling with hands.
Reaching for and lifting bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items above the head.
Regularly lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
