About The Position

Nordstrom is hosting a Hiring Event on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 11 am to 5 pm at their Ross Park Mall location (1000 Ross Park Mall Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237). No advance scheduling is required; candidates can attend anytime during the event for an interview. On-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. The company is hiring for Sales positions in Women's Apparel, Men's Apparel, Lingerie, Kidswear, Active & Accessories, and Support positions in Stock. The interview process is expected to take approximately 1 hour. Applications will still be considered if unable to attend the event.

Requirements

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (Stock/Logistics Only)

Responsibilities

Handle merchandise and assist customers, which includes continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
Grasp, manipulate, push, and pull items with hands.
Handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting them above the head.
Lift items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
