About The Position

This is a part-time, non-exempt position that reports to the District Manager. The role involves effectively marketing and selling self-storage solutions, performing general property care, cleaning, and maintenance, and engaging with customers to provide an exceptional experience. The position requires accurate payment processing and cash handling. The role will service specific locations in California and may involve travel for training. The work schedule is typically Monday-Friday, with potential for weekend work. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a reliable form of transportation are required
• Must have a Real ID or Passport to travel to San Antonio training center (effective 5/7/25)
• Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Should be able to walk in and around the property, spending up to 50% of their time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
• Cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping and mopping interior areas and maintaining the property curb appeal

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, restaurant, fast food, hospitality, customer service/sales or self-storage experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Effectively market and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Work independently, spending time both inside an office and outside on the property
• General property care, cleaning, and maintenance
• Daily property walk to confirm spaces are ready to rent
• Accurate payment processing and cash handling
• Engage with customers to provide an exceptional experience
