About The Position

Stormtech Performance Apparel, a family-owned and operated company since 1977, is a rapidly growing supplier in the promotional product industry with a global reach. We are seeking a highly organized and creative Sales & Product Development Coordinator for a 16-month contract to cover maternity leave. This role provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with Product Development teams across North America, Europe, and international markets, gaining practical experience in custom apparel development and offshore production coordination.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, DC Pro, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of garment construction and decoration applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the apparel, product development, or promotional industry is considered an asset.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with custom inquiries across all markets (North America, Europe, and International).
  • Create virtual and presentation decks for distributors and agents.
  • Perform intermediate image editing, including color correction, background cleanup, and product detail enhancements.
  • Develop repeat graphics and digital pattern designs for panel prints and interior garment linings.
  • Collaborate with finance to establish payment terms and coordinate deposit payments.
  • Communicate pricing, minimums, and lead times to distributors and agents.
  • Maintain and update the SMU tracking document and prepare monthly reporting summaries.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure SKUs are developed and purchase orders are placed with the factory to meet customer delivery dates.
  • Follow up with the factory on all approval submissions, including logo strike-offs, custom trims, lab dips, and pre-production samples.
  • Provide all approval submissions to the distributor for feedback.
  • Assist with quality control procedures on all approval submissions, including design inspections and measuring/fitting garments.
  • Develop custom trim packs for Strategic Accounts and oversee stocked trim inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Product Development Manager.
