About The Position

Encore is seeking a Part-Time Sales & Merchandising Specialist in Winnipeg, working 19-20 hours per week. This role involves being a customer service and product expert for a tier one CPG company. The specialist will ensure brands are executed at the highest level by maximizing distribution, identifying sales opportunities, selling and placing point-of-sale materials and displays, maintaining call coverage objectives, and executing brand priorities through strong relationships with store contacts. The primary goal is to ensure the client's products outsell competitors.

Requirements

Genuine interest in part-time, long-term employment.

Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Full access to a reliable vehicle which is appropriately insured for the role.
High-speed internet with WiFi at home.
MS Windows and MS Office proficiency.
Ability to store some supplies at home and transport them in your vehicle.
Previous sales and/or merchandising experience, preferably in the grocery/retail channel.

Responsibilities

Driving sales through selling and building displays, placing point-of-sale material, and ensuring Plan-o-Gram compliance.
Performing merchandising tasks including main shelf, displays, and stock replenishment.
Supporting new product launches.
Checking and correcting distribution voids/out-of-stocks.
Building relationships with key store personnel.
Achieving a set number of retail calls daily.
Conducting product quality control.
Gathering and reporting field insights using an iPad.
