About The Position

The Sales and Marketing Director possesses the skills related to all directed positions and directs the daily tasks specific to those positions. The Sales and Marketing Director works closely with employees, event sponsors, marketing firms, and customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about products, employment, ordering of required inventory, coordinating of promotional events and deliverables, assist the outreach coordinator with the corporate social media presence, and recommends solutions. The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for employee scheduling and prompt resolution of employee/customer complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Sales Associate operations.
  • Assist customers and employees with inventory related questions, take specialized orders and maintain required inventory.
  • Work closely with the Sales Associates to maintain proper inventory levels and adjust inventory in response to customer demand and sales trends.
  • Review store inventory and place orders required to maintain adequate inventory while maintaining a manageable influx of inventory.
  • Review the reception of stock from vendors and mail carriers.
  • Implement and review pricing policies.
  • Oversee the issuing of all invoices, daily and monthly.
  • Set and enforce customer payment policies and work with Employees and Customer’s to facilitate adequate payment patterns.
  • Oversee daily deposit process for accuracy and proper reporting and tracking.
  • Assist with processing of invoice payments for all entities.
  • Maintain accurate customer/employee information, enter new customers into POS and business templates.
  • Oversee promotional and marketing materials and campaigns related to all retail operations.
  • Assist with monthly and Quartey reports, data entry and reconciliation as directed.
  • Maintain work related e-mail account(s) pertaining to employee operations, scheduling, and inventory tracking.
  • Maintain accurate employee work and vacation schedules.
  • Assist with corporate Social Media Presence, monitor multiple social medal platforms and Public relations email accounts.
