Senior CommUnity Care of Northern Kentucky PACE is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization. About the job: Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the newly created Sales and Marketing Director will focus on promoting and growing our PACE program census through community contact and by integrating Senior CommUnity Care as a vital member of the healthcare and long-term care networks.

Requirements

  • Business-to-consumer (B2C) marketing, outside sales or community outreach experience.
  • Two (2)+ years of experience conducting presentations to community stakeholders and leaders.
  • Proficiency MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to work core business hours, Monday – Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm), forty (40) hours and overtime, weeknights, and weekends, when required.
  • Active driver’s license with access to reliable transportation that will enable travel to the community and/or sites within a designated area.
  • Travel may be up to 75% of the time within this market area in conjunction with census standards and policies.
  • Live in/within easy commutable distance to the Senior CommUnity Care of Northern Kentucky PACE program.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of sales and marketing experience for a healthcare provider.
  • Experience building and maintaining provider and community relationships.
  • Experience engaging with health centers and/or provider offices.
  • Experience working with (a) managed care organization(s) (MCO).
  • Experience engaging with medical providers and medical staff in Medicaid outreach.
  • Experience working with communities of all different ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, diverse populations and/or underserved communities.
  • Established professional relationships with non-profits, community sources CBO’s, religious/faith-based organizations FBOs in the eight-county northern Kentucky sales territory.
  • Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation. Experience with CRMs is highly desirable.
  • Preference would be to have either training or related experience in the job assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as Senior CommUnity Care of Northern Kentucky PACE’s sales and marketing representative at community events, health fairs, community meetings and activities of the PACE center.
  • Establishes our presence in the community by outreaching virtually, telephonically and in-person by creating a full calendar of marketing opportunities, securing participation in established events, and setting up and conducting our own activities.
  • Develops and strengthens relationships with key partners, including community-based partners, faith-based organizations, provider groups, governmental agencies and more, who also serve our existing and potential participants and other Medicaid eligible individuals.
  • Plans and coordinates open houses, networking expos, fairs and other sales and marketing events both in-house and in the community to enhance exposure and recognition for the assigned PACE Organization.
  • Assists in tracking, organizing, and ordering collateral and health education materials and giveaways. Ensures that all regular referral sources have current information about assigned PACE Organization and ensures appropriate distribution of collateral material as needed.
  • Develops and cultivates new referral sources. Maintains consistent, close contact with existing referral sources. Provides individual and group marketing presentations to potential referral sources. Assures a robust referral conversion rate.
  • Partners with the PACE program Provider Relations Representative and VOANS Provider Relations Manager on building and managing provider relationships and referral sources.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and up-to-date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database of leads/prospects, professional contacts and sales and marketing activities to measure census, sales and marketing outcomes and other key metrics according to guidelines established by the Executive Director and Regional Vice President, PACE Operations.
  • Provides scheduled and as needed census and sales and marketing reports to leadership.
  • Assists PACE Organization leaders in preparation of sales and marketing plans and provides analysis on effectiveness of sales and marketing plans.
  • Analyzes enrollment and disenrollment trends in the eight-county service area.
  • Performs all job duties in accordance with the CMS PACE compliance and sales and marketing requirements.
  • Ensure participants are treated with respect, without discrimination in the delivery of required PACE services based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, or source of payment while maintaining a restraint-free program, including the reporting of mental or physical abuse or neglect.
  • Provides oversight and direct supervision of the Enrollment Specialist and Eligibility Specialist position(s).
  • Ensures communication between business office staff and enrollment/eligibility staff to maintain participant(s) eligibility for benefits.
  • Assists in the development and routine review of marketing, intake and enrollment/eligibility processes.
  • Maintains and updates (posts), as needed, to appropriate social media accounts for maximum, positive exposure following VOANS marketing and communication best practice guidelines.
  • Conducts department meetings to provide oversight and operational efficiency of the sales and marketing initiatives and assess effectiveness.
  • Meets or exceeds monthly and annual goals for census and sales and marketing activities.
  • Maintains budget compliance for all activities related to job functions.
  • Works on special projects and all other professional duties as assigned.
