About The Position

As one of the world's largest conservation organizations, the Arbor Day Foundation inspires people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. We help others understand and use trees as a solution to global issues (like air quality, water quality, climate change, deforestation, poverty, and hunger) that are critical to survival. Arbor Day Farm is the 260-acre property owned and operated by the Arbor Day Foundation, where our mission comes to life.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years in sales or event coordination, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Excel at juggling multiple tasks, managing deadlines, and staying detail-oriented under pressure.
• Effective communicator with the ability to engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Can think outside the box to design and deliver events that exceed guest expectations and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events. From initial inquiry through event completion, you will ensure seamless execution of meetings, weddings, conferences, and other special events.
• Drive sales. Identify and cultivate new event opportunities, working closely with clients to tailor offerings and upsell additional services.
• Manage logistics. Oversee all event details, including room setups, catering, AV equipment, and staff coordination to ensure flawless experiences.
• Maintain relationships. Foster strong relationships with past clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Support the team. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operational teams to promote hotel offerings and drive overall event revenue.
