About The Position

Naturescape is seeking to hire a full-time Sales & Customer Service Representative to provide support at our Kalamazoo, MI branch. This role is about making a real impact by providing solutions that genuinely help customers and looking for sales opportunities to fulfill their needs and aspirations. The goal is to build long-term relationships by helping customers create a beautiful lawn and landscape. The role also involves processing mail and reconnecting with customers during winter months. You will become comfortable having real conversations and asking for the sale. No background in sales or customer service is required.

Requirements

Strong communication skills (phone and email)
A positive mindset, with a solution-focused attitude
Comfortable talking to customers and asking for the sale
Computer and typing skills
Confidence to try new things and be willing to learn

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as an Office Assistant, Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Sales Associate

Responsibilities

Check in on customer emails and voicemails and respond with care, offering solutions.
Look for sales opportunities for services to fulfill customer needs and aspirations.
Build long-term relationships with customers.
Process small amounts of mail daily.
Reconnect with customers during winter months to ensure they are set up for the season ahead.
Have real conversations with people and ask for the sale.
