About The Position

This opportunity will have a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office and remote flexibility on Friday. Candidates must be comfortable driving to a local facility. The role involves gathering disparate data from various sources, analyzing and normalizing it to ensure data integrity for analysis. The Sales Analyst will provide consistent, relevant, and accurate data, along with guidance and knowledge of available data and definitions. The position requires demonstrating skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in complex research/data. The nature of the work requires increasing independence, with guidance only on unusual or complex problems. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process. The role may provide general guidance/direction to or train junior-level support or professional personnel.

Requirements

BS/BA in a related discipline and generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
Gathering, normalizing, and validating data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Highly organized, focused, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple requests in a data-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

Strong focus on process improvements. Experience improving reporting workflows, data processes, documentation, and data definitions to increase efficiency and data quality.
Prior experience in a Sales Analytics or Sales Operations / Commercial Analytics role supporting sales or commercial teams is a plus!
Elementary to working knowledge of Snowflake and Tableau (or similar data warehouse and BI tools).
Strong experience preparing spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, graphs, and presenting insights in a clear, business-focused format.

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource to assigned client in area of expertise.
Gathers and compiles raw data; conducts research for industry trends and benchmarks; and normalizes data to be incorporated into a centralized data format.
Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analyses.
Defines data definitions and documents data limitations.
Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis; prepare reports with charts and graphs, mailing lists, maps and ad hoc requests.
May make presentations.
Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis.
Provides input on policies and procedures.
Participates in department and interdepartmental projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
