The Sales Analytics team is responsible for performance measurement, insight generation, product rollout effectiveness, development of new sales features, and day-to-day metric management for ZHL. Their scope includes ensuring the ZHL sales team effectively executes strategic and growth initiatives by supporting metric development, crafting objective business review storylines, and enabling sales managers to optimize performance using generated reports and insights. The team consists of versatile individuals capable of diving into cross-system integration logic with engineering partners and simplifying messaging for non-technical audiences. The Sales Analytics & Operations Analyst will serve as a technical analyst, owning the data logic flow for frontline reporting and enablement. This role requires expertise in understanding metric logic, tracing signals through the data model to source systems, and diagnosing metric anomalies as either bugs (to be solved with engineering) or features (to be communicated to frontline teams). The analyst will collaborate with centralized analytics and reporting teams to ensure consistency in insights and metrics, build requirements for data science, reporting, or engineering needs, and connect CRM tool usage with sales performance and productivity. Additionally, the role involves conducting ad hoc analyses to support strategic updates to metrics or target assumptions, providing objectivity as the sales operation scales.
