About The Position

McCormick is seeking a Sales Analyst II to join their team in Rogers, AR. This is a hybrid role (50/50) where the analyst will provide in-depth analysis to determine category strategy and opportunities. The successful candidate will support the Category Advisor in all functions of the category management process, including the development and execution of category reviews, shelving and modular plans, and consumer insights. This role is part of McCormick’s Walmart / Sam’s Club support team.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field
2+ years’ experience in a Sales, Marketing or Analyst role
Demonstrated skills working on projects and analytic analysis, including brand insight and category planogram design
Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, and Word
Ability to work well in a team environment
Must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and organization skills, project a professional image, and interact effectively with all levels within the organization
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to analyze and understand the data and then effectively communicate those insights to both internal and external audiences
Must be willing to travel several times per year

CPG environment experience
Direct customer experience
Experience with JDA Space Planning would be a plus
Experience working with Retailer specific data (Scintilla) and Syndicated Data (Nielsen/Circana)

Responsibilities

Provide detailed category and brand insight.
Regular business performance reporting.
Assist with development and implementation of assortment, merchandising and pricing recommendations.
Category Team analytical support.
Provide market insights through the collection of relevant local and global market trends and shopper research techniques.
Planogram strategy development, drawing, and execution.
