About The Position

McCormick is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join their team at their Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This role operates in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst supports the Sales Team by understanding McCormick’s go-to-market business model, recommending tools and process improvements for profitable growth, and managing day-to-day technical issues with business systems. The role is primarily responsible for developing and delivering Sales support and communication materials for assigned business units.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or other related fields.
  • Experience with Trade Management Systems.
  • Foundational and functional knowledge of industry trends and tools available throughout the CPG industry used to drive efficient and effective business planning to drive profitable growth.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Ability to work with large data sets, including pulling and interpreting data independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; required to present to large groups virtually and in person.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; required to manage multiple projects simultaneously while managing day-to-day tasks and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing sales tools and technology to enhance deployment of sales structure, strategy, new items, annual planning documents, and other business processes through internal and external systems (e.g., Sales Link, TPM).
  • Acts as primary Sales Link Administrator/Developer for US Consumer Products Division.
  • Develops and creates customized reports and dashboards.
  • Creates and manages workflows and approval processes.
  • Supports onboarding of sales employees (McCormick and Broker).
  • Responsible for the systems, security, and processes that support sales information, including Business Warehouse, third-party websites, Trade Promotion Management, and Shortage Notifications.
  • Accountable for access controls and maintenance of user credentials (BW, TPM, GBC).
  • Manages various special projects as assigned.
