About The Position

American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a Sales Amplification Project Manager for our Innovation Center. This role is an in office position and can be located in our Mooresville, NC, OH or Jefferson City, MO location. This position will report to the Director of Project Management Office. The Sales Amplification Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing initiatives that increase sales, productivity, and revenue growth. This role serves as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Leadership teams to ensure cross-selling opportunities, tools, and processes are delivered successfully and achieve measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, sales operations, or a related role.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with project management tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Eligible to work in the United States of America
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Authorize Background Check

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Injection Molding Experience
  • Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional sales amplification projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering and Operations teams to align goals and priorities.
  • Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Ability to set countermeasures for off target conditions to get the project back on track.
  • Measure project impact and recommend continuous improvements.
