About The Position

Lush North America has been creating fresh and handmade cosmetics for the past 20 years, aiming to make customers' experiences more magical through their retail shops across Canada and the US. As a Sales Ambassador, you will embody the Lush brand with enthusiasm and passion, contributing to a fresh and authentic customer, staff, and shop experience. You will bring Lush’s Leadership Practices into all business interactions, focusing on being real, curious, leading fearlessly, adapting and evolving, growing talent, and living with purpose. Sales Ambassadors support their shop teams in all business areas, particularly those that drive sales and enhance customer experience, requiring strong product and brand knowledge, positive team relationships, and participation in operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty and ethical business
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings and weekends
  • Ability to support operations of a retail shop as needed, including but not limited to: Till and cash, visuals and inventory, soap cutting, wrapping, labeling, potting, boxing and recycling.

  • Fluency in Spanish, French or other languages

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team on plans to exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique customer experience that makes every visitor feel welcome, meets their needs, and makes their day.
  • Educate customers on brand values and articulate the company's position on Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging.
  • Increase product knowledge through constant learning and consistently make informed product recommendations for every need.
  • Build rapport and engage with customers, uncover their needs through questions and listening, demonstrate relevant products and regimens, and support their purchasing decisions by confirming interest.
  • Be present to support the team on the sales floor.
  • Own personal development, assess performance, seek feedback, and find resources and opportunities to improve skills, knowledge, and abilities.
  • Be real with needs and feedback for leaders and adaptable to the needs of the business.
  • Build strong peer and customer relationships, stay connected to brand values, and participate in creating an inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure practice of company standards for opening and closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
  • Take pride in a clean and beautiful work environment and follow merchandising and design standards.
  • Show up on time and ready to support the team, take breaks for well-being, and review daily communications to stay informed.
