About The Position

Lush North America has been creating fresh and handmade cosmetics for the past 20 years, aiming to make customers' experiences more magical through their retail shops across Canada and the US. As a Sales Ambassador, you will bring enthusiasm and passion for the Lush brand, contributing to a fresh and authentic customer, staff, and shop experience. The role involves embodying Lush's Leadership Practices in all business interactions and supporting the shop team in driving sales and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This requires strong product and brand knowledge, positive team relationships, and participation in overall shop operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty and ethical business
  • Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends
  • Ability to support operations of a retail shop including till and cash, visuals and inventory, soap cutting, wrapping, labeling, potting, boxing and recycling.

  • Fluency in Spanish, French or other languages

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team on plans to exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique customer experience.
  • Educate customers on brand values, including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging.
  • Increase product knowledge through constant learning and make informed product recommendations.
  • Build rapport and engage with customers, uncover their needs, demonstrate products, and support purchasing decisions.
  • Be present to support the team on the sales floor.
  • Own personal development, assess performance, seek feedback, and find opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate personal needs and feedback to leaders and be adaptable to business needs.
  • Build strong peer and customer relationships, stay connected to brand values, and participate in creating an inclusive work environment.
  • Practice company standards for opening and closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and beautiful work environment and follow merchandising and design standards.
  • Arrive on time and ready to support the team, take breaks for well-being, and review daily communications.
