About The Position

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Sales AI Product Manager to make AI real, safe, and valuable for their Loan Officers. This role involves researching, evaluating, integrating, launching, and scaling third-party AI tools, as well as partnering on internal builds. The goal is to enable Sales to focus on high-value conversations by reducing time spent on routine tasks. The Product Manager will work closely with Loan Officers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for AI to improve their work and drive productivity. Collaboration with AI risk, software advisory, legal, compliance, vendor management, and InfoSec teams is crucial for evaluating and approving vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, required.
  • Minimum six years' experience in Product Management, Sales Enablement, or Process improvement.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well independently or within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Proven record launching sales-facing tools with measurable adoption and ROI.
  • Hands-on experience navigating enterprise risk/governance and third-party approvals.
  • AI literacy: LLM strengths/limits, prompt design, evaluation basics, hallucination/guardrail concepts (no coding required).
  • Working knowledge of integrations (APIs/webhooks/SSO/iPaaS) and enterprise app ecosystems (CRM/Loan Origination System/Point of Sale/Product & Pricing Engine/Marketing Automation/telephony).
  • Change leadership and field influence—credible with top producers and risk partners alike.
  • Analytical fluency: funnel analytics, time-in-motion, A/B testing, business casing.
  • Mortgage domain depth (LO processes, lead triage, pricing/marketing compliance).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the vision and roadmap for AI-driven sales enablement tools.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure a cohesive AI strategy and aligned roadmap through the sales tech stack.
  • Develop a build vs. buy framework to guide decisions on creating in-house solutions or adopting external vendor technologies.
  • Establish and maintain an inventory of AI capabilities across the existing tech stack to identify opportunities for increased utilization, optimization, and integration.
  • Evaluate emerging AI trends and apply them to the retail mortgage sales environment.
  • Run structured discovery with LOs/Sales Leaders to translate pain points into a value-ranked AI use-case roadmap with clear KPIs and adoption targets.
  • Define success criteria, control groups, and measurement plans.
  • Build market scans and shortlists; lead scorecards and proof-of-value pilots.
  • Drive vendor approvals end-to-end through various governance teams, owning the intake and project management of the approval process.
  • Apply risk tiering and fast lanes where eligible, while escalating higher-risk flows as required.
  • Map current and future workflows; design in-workflow experiences across various sales technology platforms.
  • Work with the technical team to specify integration patterns and acceptance criteria.
  • Build role-based playbooks, prompt libraries, templates, micro-learning, and manager toolkits.
  • Stand up training and branch champions.
  • Collaborate with the AI Training and Enablement Specialist to ensure a robust training and enablement plan.
  • Measure the adoption and impact of AI and vendor solutions to inform future investments and promotion of tools.
  • Maintain an Approved AI Vendor Catalog with lifecycle statuses and associated guardrails/model cards.
  • When 'build beats buy,' convert field requirements into BRDs and work with internal Product/AI teams on delivery and rollout.
