Sales Agent 1 (S) (Box Office) 11am-3pm Shift
About The Position
This is an entry-level position suitable for students with foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed introductory courses. The Sales Agent will sell tickets to individual customers, travel agents, and process internet and e-mail orders, as well as conduct outbound sales. Responsibilities include answering questions, promoting upgrades, arranging reservations, and processing upgrades. The role also involves conferring with a Supervisor on unusual problems and performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Must be available to work through Christmas holiday break.
- Should be a high school graduate or the equivalent.
- No prior work experience required.
- Must attach resume and screenshot of your most current class schedule (as a weekly view).
- Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations.
- Must complete the Form I-9 to verify eligibility to work in the U.S. and provide actual documents (no photocopies) to prove identity and work authorization.
Nice To Haves
- Fluency in a foreign language is highly desirable but not required.
- Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks.
