About The Position

The Sales Administrative Assistant will act as a liaison between dealers, District Managers, and other Kawasaki departments for all new dealer applications, changes, and terminations within the region. This role involves developing and maintaining regional and dealer contact information, processing MasterCard reconciliations, managing correspondence and filing systems, and coordinating itineraries and travel for the Regional Sales Director and District Managers. The position also requires compiling statistical reports and spreadsheets, preparing outgoing communications, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment. Knowledge of DMV requirements for state sales/distributor licenses is also necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Minimum two years related experience and/or training in an administrative support environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to successfully prioritize and organize multiple, competing tasks.
  • Extremely detail and deadline oriented.
  • Brings energy and enthusiasm to group or team efforts.
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with Microsoft’s Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Access software, and Cognos.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from a four-year college or Associate’s Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as liaison between dealers, District Managers and other Kawasaki departments for all new dealer applications, changes and terminations within region.
  • Develops and maintains regional and dealer contact information.
  • Reviews, prepares and completes MasterCard reconciliations for Regional Sales Director and District Managers.
  • Reads and routes incoming mail. Composes and prepares routine correspondence.
  • Organizes and maintains file systems, correspondence and other records for every dealer within the region.
  • Answers and directs regional telephone calls.
  • Coordinates itineraries and schedules appointments for Regional Sales Director.
  • Coordinates and maintains weekly itineraries for Regional Sales Director and all District Managers in region.
  • Coordinates travel schedules and reservations.
  • Compiles and maintains statistical reports and spreadsheets (Sales plans, vehicle order periods, market share, and Cognos queries).
  • Prepares outgoing communications, including mail and e-mail.
  • Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
  • DMV knowledge of state sales / distributor license requirements for Regional Sales Director and District Managers.
