About The Position

This position involves entering and retrieving information from computer databases, updating records, files, and reservations, and answering guest inquiries. The role requires transmitting information via computer, mail, or facsimile, and operating standard office equipment. Responsibilities include preparing various documents using software such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools. Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamping and distribution, is also a key duty. The position requires creating and maintaining both computer-based and paper-based filing systems for records, reports, and documents, as well as compiling, copying, sorting, and filing records of office activities and business transactions. Entering and locating work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems is essential. The role also mandates adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, ensuring confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets. A significant part of the job includes welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation to guests. Effective communication is crucial, involving speaking clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also expected. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
