About The Position

Eclipse Automation is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Account Manager – Industrial/Consumer to drive growth across the Southeast United States. This is a remote role based within the region, responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and delivering custom automation and engineered solutions. The ideal candidate will bring 5-7+ years of sales experience in custom automation or engineered-to-order solutions, along with a technical or engineering background to effectively engage with customer engineering teams and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

5-7+ years of sales experience in custom automation, engineered systems, or capital equipment
Proven track record of closing complex, technical sales opportunities
Strong consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar)
Experience with applications engineering, robotics, automated manufacturing systems, or system integration
Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth within the Midwest US region, as well as nationally
Identify, pursue, and close complex custom automation and engineered system opportunities
Lead the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity development through contract negotiation and project handoff
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and executive leadership
Collaborate with internal engineering and application teams to develop and deliver tailored technical solutions
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast to meet or exceed revenue targets
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging transportation technologies (EV, mobility, etc.)
