About The Position

The Sales Account Manager - OE will be responsible for account management of the Stellantis customer account along with several Asian & European OEMs. Other customers may be included from time to time based on the workloads of broader sales teams. The role involves providing ongoing support to customers to ensure high-quality customer service and representing the voice of the customer in internal discussions. Key responsibilities include managing and driving company KPIs such as acquisition opportunities, P&L, and internal costs. The position supports customer projects from a technical and commercial perspective throughout their lifecycle, including feasibility studies, budget, and deadlines. The role also entails preparing and conducting negotiations for project scope and engineering changes, supporting sales planning for short and long-term strategies, managing processes, and communicating with local and global teams. Presenting programs to other departments and local leadership forums, as well as traveling to MANN+HUMMEL or customer locations, are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant business sales experience and proven success in the automotive industry
  • 1+ year minimum sales contract negotiation experience
  • Customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative and ability to work well under pressure
  • Responsible, respectful, and can adapt themselves to very dynamic situations
  • Ability and willingness to work off hours when necessary
  • Strong and assertive, while respectful
  • Conflict management and business communication skills
  • Strategic, creative & innovative
  • Must be able to travel local, domestic, and some international as necessary (up to 20%)

  • Stellantis or other automotive OE customer account experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support to customers to ensure high quality customer service and represent voice of customer in internal discussions
  • Responsible for managing and driving company KPIs: acquisition opportunities, P&L, and managing internal costs
  • Support the customer projects from a technical as well as commercial perspective from the initial phase until delivery regarding budget, deadlines etc. including feasibility studies
  • Prepare and conduct negotiations related to project scope and engineering changes during the development and production phase
  • Support sales planning for both short and long term strategy, while working in the planning system
  • Manage process and communicate with local and global teams
  • Present programs to other departments and local leadership forums
  • Travel locally, domestically, and internationally as necessary to MANN+HUMMEL or customer locations to support programs
