About The Position

We are looking for a high-agency Sales Account Executive to dominate the DACH market. This role is crucial for increasing founder leverage by owning the entire revenue engine in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The Sales Account Executive will act as the strategic bridge between our product and the academic/research powerhouse of Europe, providing the intelligence and execution speed needed to scale.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in high-growth environments (EdTech, SaaS, or STEM Publishing).
  • Native or full professional fluency in German.
  • Understanding of the nuances of doing business in German, Austrian, and Swiss academic and corporate cultures.
  • Track record of navigating multi-stakeholder environments and managing complex sales cycles from outreach to contract.
  • Proficiency in using CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) and outreach tools.
  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
  • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps, capable of supporting work during a power outage.
  • Desktop or laptop with at least an Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor.
  • A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
  • Backup device meeting or exceeding the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor and functional during power interruptions.
  • A functioning webcam.
  • A noise-canceling USB headset.
  • A quiet, dedicated home office space.
  • A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.

  • Achieve DACH Market Sovereignty by owning the territory and ensuring the brand is the default choice for researchers and faculty.
  • Maintain Pipeline Velocity & Integrity by optimizing the sales funnel for speed and conversion, and solving friction points in the buying process.
  • Provide Strategic Market Intelligence by translating DACH-specific market trends and competitor shifts into actionable product feedback and localized go-to-market strategies.
  • Build High-Stakes Relationship Architecture by developing deep institutional partnerships with academic librarians and teaching faculty.
