About The Position

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing customer relationships, managing an assigned book of business, and identifying opportunities to expand RunBuggy’s customer base. In this role, you may support a specific customer segment or vertical, such as commercial, auction, or other strategic accounts, while partnering with customers to understand their transportation needs and deliver solutions that support their business goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales selling a similar product.
  • Ability to travel to Tempe, AZ on a quarterly basis, as well as travel to tradeshows, conferences, and other events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports and presentations, and use internet-based tools to support account management and sales execution (experience with Zoho CRM a bonus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, present solutions, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to continuously learn and improve sales performance.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability, with the ability to assess customer needs and adjust approach based on business priorities.
  • Ability to take ownership of customer needs, manage follow-through, and deliver a high-quality customer experience while supporting account growth.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar preferred.
  • experience with Zoho CRM a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach, including calls, email campaigns, and engagement with prospective and existing shipper customers.
  • Partner with marketing and sales leadership to support lead generation, client-specific outreach strategies, and promotional campaigns that drive customer engagement.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and business goals to recommend solutions that support customer growth and transportation objectives.
  • Participate in sales meetings, team discussions, and customer meetings to align on opportunities, share account insights, and support revenue growth.
  • Maintain regular customer follow-up to support satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Participate in ongoing training on product releases, sales tools, professional development, and industry knowledge to strengthen performance and customer support.
  • Review and analyze daily and weekly performance reports, including cost per VIN, sales activity, gross profit margin, and other account metrics to inform customer strategy.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports and presentations, and complete administrative activities that support account management and sales execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support sales goals, customer success, and business priorities.
